ENVIRONMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE.

The exponential growth in recent years of both industrial activity and energy demand in all sectors, linked to socio-economic development and welfare society in which we live, has had a great effect on the planet, and it is necessary to the development and implementation of methodologies and techniques to eliminate or reduce adverse effects associated with pollution in all its aspects, air, water, soil and living things. Ever more restrictive environmental regulations have evolved from the idea of “control” of environmental issues to “prevention” as the most effective strategy, i.e. an approach based on preventing the formation of toxic substances at source.

In RDPE-3 twelve actions are proposed under the Environment and Climate Change, led by a research group of the UCLM, which will enhance the interdisciplinary nature of the investigation beyond the boundaries UCLM, encouraging mobility of researchers most talented among different centers and national and international groups.
